Slow Cooker French Onion Soup

In college, I loved French Onion Soup but couldn't afford to eat out, so I winged it with a can of onion soup and a melted hunk of cheese over a piece of bread. To a college student's tongue, it was great, but now that I'm older...this is the real stuff, baby! Tiphero.com's recipe is so savory and delicious. Best of all, now that I'm a busy adult with no time for playing like in college, this slow cooker version does all the work for me while I go about my day.
